Re: Gasoline Prices....

We just made a trip to Branson, Missouri and bought gas for $1.62, but 35 miles south of there it is $1.75.

Twinplets is welcome here
It's still $1.65 and $1.63 at the stations I go to here, hasn't budged in weeks. It's a little higher at the Mobil station, and I don't even bother looking at the Exxon station by the highway.

Re: Gasoline Prices....

Early this morning:
Meijer's gas station $1.93 (reg. unleaded)
I'm so glad I filled up a several of days ago @ $1.79 a gallon, that seems like a bargain now.

Re: Gasoline Prices....

We are hovering around $1.65 but a local station gives away free gas on Friday mornings at various locations and they show who has the cheapest gas. Last week, a BJ's near us had gas for $1.56!!

Remember just a couple of years ago- it was less than 90 cents a gallon!

I've always heard that gas in European countries and Asian countries is MUCH more expensive than hear...anyone know about that?

If so...how do they manage?? Maybe we should learn from them LOL.

These gas prices really cut down on my geocaching....lol

I seriously don't know what we are going to do when gas gets to $2+ per gallon this summer.

Re: Gasoline Prices....

It is up to $1.95 here in MN. I'm gonna have to start walking to work pretty soon at these prices. It's 18 miles so it should only take me a few (4+) hours each way.

Re: Gasoline Prices....

Aaarrrggghh, now today it's up to $1.81. That's a ten cent increase in a week. I live out in the country where gas is generally cheaper. Most people (DH included) commute at least an hour one way. At this rate I may have to cut out my day trips and *gasp* stay home and keep the house clean or something. Oh the horror!

Better public transportation, so people don't have to use their cars so much?

Fewer people living "out in the country", so they're closer to schools, shopping, work, etc?

People living closer to where they work, so no long commutes?
