April Fool's................

Now this is one "Holiday" I think I could live without.
But I'm guessing there are some people out there that just live for the thrill.?

Any April Fool fans here?
What was the best gag/prank you pulled off?

Ugh! I hate April Fool's Day!

But I'll always remember the April Fool's Day when I was little and I was walking past my babysitter's house when she was going out to her car to go to work and a bird pooped in her hair.

I used to love it...pull little pranks on my family. Hiding all the cereal.

One year I put detergent in the shower head and my went to take a shower and got soap in his eyes...boy he was NOT happy...LOL!

This year I couldn't care less...

My sister pulled a good one on me once. She's a recovering alcoholic and has been sober for years. But she called me at 4:30 AM, sobbing about how she had been arrested for drunk driving and needed me to come bail her out of jail. I shrieked, "What?!!" and bolted out of bed, in complete shock. Then I remembered that I should try to sound sympathetic and supportive, so I was fumbling around, trying to do that as I pulled some clothes on. Suddenly, she started laughing like a maniac, and shouted "April Fools!" I could have killed her!

Hmmmm, I still owe her for that . . . Maybe I'll sneak over to her house tonight and turn off her water.

Ok I remember this one from a few years back cuz my kids just asked me if I was doing it this year to them....I put ketchup on my arm and started screaming and told the kids to call their dad on the cell I had cut my arm really bad.....yep they fell for it...hook line and sinker!!

I loved April Fools when I was a child, pulling childish pranks on my friends, but now I don't really have an interest in it.

I like it when I was younger. I remember putting sandwich bags full of water, just twisted slightly closed in my step dads shoes, when he put them on, the bags opened and his feet got wet.


My favorite to pull on my mom and my husband any time of the year is this one:

I take a black rubber band and put it around the handheld "squirter" on the kitchen sink, whenever they turn on the sink water water squirts all over them! I bet I have gotten my mom 50 times with that one!


I remember in the 5th grade though April Fools back fired on me, my twin sister and I walked home from school and got him to find our brother (who was a jr in high school) was home but our mother wasn't, he said she had been in a car accident, we srugged it off as an april fools joke and went over to a friends house to play. A few hours later my mother came home from the hospital and we learned it wasn't an April Fool's Day joke after all!

I could do without it really. I hate having to follow much of what I say with "...and this isn't some April Fools joke." I had to do it with the 2 youngest sons and hubby. They didn't believe me at first when I said it was spitting snow outside.

I do however plank pranks on my DH and kids all year long...
