I have a medium colored oak hutch and desk setup

Going from left to right:

First Level

accessory handset portable phone

small jar vaseline - used for frequent lip application
monitor with 1 pen in front

pencil cup

fan on top of scanner - seasonal
cell phone which can only be used for 911 - has no number

Back wall:

Everything, I don't use it, it is a depository to just about anything and everything. Right now, there are 2 X'mas wreaths on it.

My desk isn't too big, but it's adequate. It was one of those in a box to put together, and I like it because it has wheels.

Top shelf -
Speakers, extra printer ink, holder for floppies and a jar of 'Internuts' from a friend.

Second shelf -
CDs, Kleenex, Instruction booklets, Scotch tape, Rolodex, file folder labels, and blank CDs and floppy discs.

Main shelf -
Monitor, candy dish, tower, pencil cup, coaster and basket of scratch paper. Under the shelf is my keyboard and mouse on a roll-out shelf.

Bottom shelf is my printer, booklets, printer paper and a big empty space. I'm going to have to find something to stuff in there too.

It's only 39-1/2 inches wide so I think I did quite well.

i have alot ,

monkey, salt and pepper shaker, lighters, vitiamins,ibuprofen, chapstick, white diamonds lotion and a bunch of other junk and cd.

now i have to clean it

Ok, let me start again, computer desk you say, OK, I have a stuffed computer bug, a phone we are not using, a box of multi colored paper clips, a stapler, all purpose glue, a dictionary, some music CDs, 2 pairs of reading glasses, a bank card, cereal bowl, mail order catalogs, pens, markers, ruler, walkie talkies, that's about it, plus alot of paper clutter from stuff I've printed off the computer.

Man, I have a LOT of stuff.

Top Shelf: Picture of Hershey, desk lamp,Computer speakers, Betty Boop pewter item, Betty Boop Hula girl, Ceramics made by both girls, blue glass vase with flowers, CD and DVD that I won and am attempting to sell.

Second: CD Roms, Toucan Sam Bendable that Sadie gave me, Walkie Talkies, Printer cartridges and ceramic piece made by Sadie

Third: Baskets of odds and ends like stamps, etc. Ceramic MOM Sarah made, rock turtle from Sadie, Betty Boop clock, notepads, Stuffed bear from Mouse, Little worry dolls from Mouse

Desk Top: One of those things that keep your coffee warm, two bottles of water, flashlight, candle, pencil jar Sadie made me out of clay pot full of pencils and pens, another candle, coupons, Tic Tacs, TONS of papers for Girl Scouts, Sarah's FAFSA papers, and other things. Mousepad with arm rest, Satellite remote, printer, Monitor, keyboard, cordless mouse, roll of film

I'm too lazy to type it all...LOL (sorry Toby Lee)! So I took a pic....I admit to running the swiffer duster over it beforehand..LOL!
Heeey Kriss...I have a little ceramic pot that Codey made me on the desk also, I put my earrings in it every night...the heart shape ceramic trinket box is from Kyle on Valentines day, it has my watch and gold bracelet in it.

I couldn't even BEGIN to list everything on the opposite wall...whoa!! LOL! There are oodles of storage organizers just to help keep my crap together.
