What is your hobby? I just started writing poetry, here are a couple of my latest

I love anything romantic, so I thought, for my first poems they would be about love, so here goes. These two are my favorites so far.

Thoughts of You

Thoughts of you invade my dreams, I swoon with desire.
I touch your parted lips with mine, rendering passionate kisses, our bodies become as one, the flame is ignited, two souls with one heart, two lovers which the night embraces with its canopy.

Oh how I wish I could hold you in my arms our bodies melting together, gazing in starlit eyes, savoring your sweet kisses, never letting go. Oh...how I wish.

Now I just have to buy a special book, type all my poetry to put in it. I really enjoy writing, even though I may not be the best writer out there. I used to write poetry like this when I was 18 years old, then got away from it. I didn't realize how I missed writing my poetry. I love my new hobby.

What is your hobby? Are there any poets out there?

I write poetry sometimes, but I usually throw it out b4 anyone can get a look at it. I am very self conscience about it. My hubby did find one that I wrote b4 I could get rid of it and now he has hidden it somewhere so that I cannot dispose of it. He keeps threatening to send it out and have it published but he knows I would probably freak.

As far as productive hobbies go, I like to embroider, learning to sew and soon hopefully will be learning to crochet. I love puzzles and am a sucker for word games - on paper and on the 'puter.
I also love to read.

I have written poetry, or stories for the last 12 years or so. I keep them in theme books in my house, all hand written, ocassionaly I will type one and give it as a gift. I have been published 14 times, including 3 short stores in my local paper.

I basically scrapbook. I have about 6 and am running out of pictures to use. But my visit to see my infant nephew will probably change that!

I collect vintage Winnie-the-Pooh items and books ( NO DISNEY! ). I have Pooh books in over 25 foreign languages.

A hobby I've had all my life is reading. I'm addicted to books.

Other hobbies I've had in the past are: counted cross-stitch, macrame, photography, sewing, crewel embroidery, needlepoint, and collecting vintage VW Beetle ads.

Pinanella my brother and I do geocaching also here in oregon. We have found many caches. Doing this with my brother has brought us closer together. We even found one when we were in san diego visiting our grandparents.

3t, I don't think I've ever written poetry unless it was a school assignment. I don't think I'd be brave enough to share it with people I didn't know, either.

The hobbies I'm pursuing at the moment are gardening and painting.
