I was driving down the highway once and I saw this guy picking his nose while he was driving, talk about grossing me out. I mean, did he think no one could see him? I mean the windows in his car were glass. Ok, so maybe his immune system is better than ours?

I forwarded this to DH and he gave it to one of the Docs and he pulled out ANOTHER study that said the same thing by another Dr. I guess it will have to be "take your vitamin and your bat in the cave"

I always wondered why most kids seem to have a natural tendency towards this. I did my best to break this habit in them. Just the thought of it makes me nauseated! ugh!!!
My hubby will probably find it funny.

Now come on.....don't tell me you've NEVER picked your nose as an adult. I DON'T MEAN TO EAT THEM. But what do you do when you get one of those hard ones that won't blow out? Do you just LEAVE it there? I admit it. I HAVE picked my nose in the car, but I flick it out the window and I make darn sure no one is watching! (Again, opportunities abound when you live in a rural area...)

Now, about eating them to boost your immune system....this just doesn't make sense to me. Aren't the cilia in your nose put there to help catch germs to keep them from entering your body? So what's the point, if you're just going to help things along by eating them? Or is it just that you don't want the germs in your sinuses, because that will make you a special kind of sick that having the germs in your gut won't?

Okay, I've spent way more than enough time thinking about THIS! It's still gross!!!!

Flick it out the window? I wipe it on a tissue. And for the car, hold a tissue to your nose like you're just blowing to "hide" your finger.

Somehow this reminds me of an episode of "Seinfeld".

Well, I rarely carry tissues in my car or in my purse, unless I have a cold. I COULD, I just forget to put them in there. I rarely have to blow my nose, so that's why I'm not prepared always with a tissue, and that's why I have to flick it.
