Love What is your favorite place in Las Vegas?

Without a doubt, for me it is the Mirage and the grounds. It's made to look like a South Seas Paradise, and it certainly does not disappoint. I even loved the dolphin show and the Secret Garden with the animals from Siegfried and Roys show. At night there's that volcano outside the hotel, also quite the spectacle.

Re: What is your favorite place in Las Vegas?

My DH and I just watched a show on Vegas hotels, I think the TV show was called Modern Marvels, boy did that bring back wonderful memories. We actually want to go again, but this time when DH doesn't have to go to any IBM conferences, that's all he got to do there, except for the time he went with me to the Venetian and took a gondola ride inside. That was fun. Just seeing those lights on the strip again, weren't those pretty? When the Flamingo was lit up at night and then you had those beautiful fountains in front of Caesars, all I can say is WOW. A friend of mine is going in July, first time, I just know he's going to love it.

Re: What is your favorite place in Las Vegas?

The lights were beautiful. Beside the time I went 7yrs ago I also went with my parents when I was 14 and even enjoyed it then. I remember both times we flew out at nite and both times I cried because I thought it was so beautiful and I really enjoyed it alot there. when I was 18 and newly married my husband and my parents and I almost moved there. But it was so far away from our family and his that we decided not to go.

Re: What is your favorite place in Las Vegas?

I wanted to move there after I came home from Vegas, I really missed that place, the warm air, the palm trees, I have a thing for palm trees, I can't get enought of them. But it does get over 100 degrees there in the summer, and I doubt my hubby would like it, he can't stand the temps in Connecticut.

Are you related to Steph?

I would have to say my favorite spot was the Bellagio fountains. I could watch them all day....

Night, too.

Re: What is your favorite place in Las Vegas?

Why, does Steph love palm trees too?

You went to the Liberace museum blue? I wanted to do that, but the free shuttle didn't come to our hotel and I didn't feel like paying cab fare there and back. I wished I could have seen it, but I was trying to stretch my dollars.

I didn't have enough time to go in all the casinos I wanted, so I missed New York New York. If it's there next time when we go, I'm definitely going to check that place out. An Elvis machine? What is that like, is it a figure of Elvis that moves?

It's a slot machine that plays Elvis songs and videos when you win. They are all hooked up for some big jackpot. I didn't win the jackpot, but I won quite a bit (enough to keep playing all week). I even went home with $200!

We stayed right next to the Bellagio and I could see and hear the fountain from the window. So beautiful!

Good job, Kristin!

Yeah, we stayed across the street from Bellagio's, at Bally's, and our room view was of the fountains. Also, the Eiffel Tower at Paris next door.

Vegas is just sooooooo beautiful at night.

I don't know if I can limit it down to my favorite, but the Bellagio Botanical Gardens
is very nice.

Also like the atmosphere inside Paris

And what's that place downtown? OOOPs better not mention that one<LOL>
-not the light show! Although they are updating with better graphics resolution.
