I have a feeling this will be sold out within hours. Not only because of popularity, but this is his hometown.

I would LOVE to see Prince live! And I agree with zenella, he is a total genius. But, *sigh*, he won't be playing here, the closest theater show even is in Nashville, so I guess I'll have to wait.

On a better note, I will get to see Journey and 61 other bands at the Beale Street Music Festival the 1st weekend in May. Woo-hoo! I like so many different types of music, I decided I have GOT to go this year! Plus Styx will be playing on Friday, and I love them too!

Back when I was a teen I was a big prince fan(1987about that time). My friends and I loved him. Now I do not think I know of anything he sings.

I don't think he's really had anything in the last several years that hit very big. He got so weird there for a while, I think he drove off a lot of his fan base!

Just like Journey, Styx is not the same without Dennis Deyoung! I was lucky enough to see them in concert a few years back the last year Dennis was with them. It's not the same now with someone else singing the songs he wrote!

He also says he's cleaned up his act, that his concerts are suitable for families. So let's see, that leaves out Darling Nickie, Sexy MF, Head, Gett Off, hmmm . . . does he have any songs left after cleaning up the dirty ones? lol

I had a Prince CD laying on my desk last night and my husband tossed it aside and said "He's the biggest piece of ****" . . . so I guesss I'll wait a couple months before telling him I'm going to the concert. lol

He must be popular because today they added another concert. I've seen interviews on local TV and he seems like a very sensible and nice person. Never having seen him perform, I couldn't say.
