Wink Is anyone else doing spring cleaning?

I just started digging out my bedroom, I could barely walk in there. Then I went through my closet, pulled out anything I hadn't worn in awhile, shoved it in a bag for the Goodwill. Some of the stuff in there, I swear it's from the 80's, it has to go. Now I'm going to just put stuff I love in my closet, so when I look in there, I won't say, gee, I don't want to wear this or that. I told my DH no more flannel nightwear either, no way, this is the new me. Hmmmm, maybe I'm having spring fever?

Re: Is anyone else doing spring cleaning?

I'm slowly cleaning stuff up. I went to the Yankee Candle store today to get some new scents for my electric fragrancer since Spring is just around the corner. I chose Lilac Blossoms and boy does it smell refreshing! I also got a couple Fresh Comfort candles.

I just love that store! I'm a regular...lol

Re: Is anyone else doing spring cleaning?

Don't be jealous how, but we have a Yankee Candle outlet in our town.

Re: Is anyone else doing spring cleaning?

Believe it or not, I rarely buy candles, I'm not much of a candle girl. If I do buy any, they usually just sit there looking pretty, I don't burn them unless there is a power outage, talk about a practical girl. I have no idea how much the candles cost, what the price difference is. I only went in there once, and I didn't feel that the prices were that low, but, I don't like paying too much for anything if I can help it. Sorry I can't answer your question better.

Re: Is anyone else doing spring cleaning?

Yep. Not only that, I have managed to get Bill to clean out his SHOP and his side of the bed.

This is no small achievement. Really. But we are having a garage sale for our GS troop to raise funds for a building to hold meetings. So I had a little incentive.

I am even going to rent a machine and clean the carpets. That is what I get for having dogs.

Yup, little by little. Of course, it's kind of fun now that I have my new Dyson vacuum cleaner! (Thanks, Mouse!)

There you go again ... bragging on your nifty Dyson again!

Seriously, no, I haven't started spring cleaning yet ... but I really need to ... not my most favorite thing to do.

Re: Is anyone else doing spring cleaning?

Not really Spring cleaning, but as soon as the weather breaks...we have a lot of painting to do inside and out!!

I scrubbed my bathtub last night...man I hate that thing!

Re: Is anyone else doing spring cleaning?

I don't like scrubbing our tub either, 'cause it's so deep. I can't just bend over to do it, I have to actually get in it to do it.

whitequeen, you have a Dyson? I'm so envious. My DH said a Rainbow is better, yet, he's never heard of a Dyson 'til he saw it on TV. I would tend to think that the Dyson is better from what I've heard. The Rainbow uses water in the base, and all the dust goes into the water. The Dyson just sounds so powerful. I'd love to have one of those.
