Rolling eyes Did anyone hear this, if you drink hot liquids, you can lose weight faster?

The guy who does the New York Nick show said this today. I wonder how true it is, or if it even works? He said if you drink cold drinks, switch to warmer drinks to lose weight. Hmmm, it's something to think about.

I have heard that too...and spicy foods as well. I guess it raises the metabolism?

Kind of a contrast to being colder, which burns more calories (to keep you warm). Not sure about drinks, though.

My DH said it's the colder drinks which help you burn more calories. I think the spicey foods might though.

I don't know how 'scientific' this is, but I did find this:
