Sending video clips via e-mail

My digital camera does video clips with sound, but the problem is I can't figure out how to make them small enough to send them through e-mail - they're huge! (There was a compress option, but even then it was still huge.)

Or is there a free website that you can upload video and then have people view them?

Do you know what format the original clips are in? I have about half a dozen video editing programs on my husband's PC because we have a Samsung Mini DV camera. I know that one of them will compress the video down to streaming video which might be a smaller file size (you can watch it in Windows Media Player. I will check into it. Even then, when I am trying to send a video to my mom via email, the best I can do is about 20-30 seconds...but she loves them anyway.

They are mpeg format. The way they are right now, they're a little over 2000 KBs.

You could convert them into WMV or ASF formats. Those are both lower compression formats so they won't be as clear but they'll be much smaller files which is better for email.
