Home sick again, any suggestions for severe laryngitis?

I can't believe this, here it is Friday, and I've had this laryngitis for 4 days!!! I had to actually cancel another doctor's appt today with my dermatologist, have to reschedule the ultrasound. The manager in that office said she had the same thing last week, so now I know I'm not crazy, it's not a sinus infection.
She said the cough was the worst, no kidding, that's why I don't have a voice. I think the guys at work think it's cute, they are teasing me. A girl at work said I sounded sexy, ok. I'd rather be well. I loaded up on vitamin c drops at the drug store tonight and a ton of cough drops, did the Nyquil thing last night.

Once upon a time late 60's early 70's D.O.'s where not welcomed in the Allopathic community. D.O thought all problems were rooted the muscularskeletic while M.Ds do not. DO are taught manipulation in their training although most other training is almost the same.

DH is a CRNP and he is able to do almost as much as a physician, prescribe meds, intubate, etc. Heck his knowledge of pharmaceuticals have the docs calling him.

As for D.O.'s, FWIW, Kaiser Permanente, one of the largest HMO's on the west coast, has D.O.'s on staff, right along with M.D.'s. I wonder if Rockabillie has D.O.'s confused with Chiropractors?
