OMG, YES!!!!!! I used to get those things when my dad had his grocery store, which he sold in 1969. I never used them for drinks, which was their intent, I used to just hold them on my tongue and let them fizz away. I liked the grape ones the best. Oh man, it gets my salivary glands in an uproar just thinking about them, I'm not kidding!!

Julie, I guess you could say they were sort of like Pop Rocks, but not exactly. They were about the size of a quarter, maybe more like a nickel, and a little thicker, and you were supposed to drop them into water to make a drink. Kind of like flavored Alka-Seltzer...LOL. But I always just held them sideways on my tongue and oooooooooooo, they were tart and they would fizz on your tongue and it was the coolest thing ever! But they didn't crackle like Pop Rocks do.

You know, I have been looking for these things recently because I had such a huge craving for them. Until a couple of months ago, I didn't even know that they had quit making them. I have confirmed that they are back out in New Jersey. I just bought a box last night at Stop and Shop. They're actually made by "Popsicle" which is a division of the Good Humor-Breyers company. They are skinnier than they used to be. I remember them being sort of fat, these are shaped like a popsicle, but it is a Jello pudding pop and the taste is the same.

yeah, i was disappointed that they changed the shape, too.
its a small price to pay, though.
