Do you go to a car wash, or wash your vehicle yourself?

I guess I'm just a tightwad, I really don't like spending money on car washes, so I usually wash mine myself. It really doesn't even take that long to do. The only time I'd go to a car wash is if I wanted wax put on it. I washed my car tonight, it took me 1/2 hour to do, and I finished just before the sun went down. Talk about hurrying

I voted for "wash it myself" because "my spouse washes it for me" wasn't a choice

I'm not that obsessed with having a clean car if it's during the rainy season, but if we have a stretch of sunny weather, then it does bug me when it's dirty. I drive an SUV so it's time consuming to wash it, but my DH usually washes mine after he washes his car. Those car washes where they do all the detailing are pretty expensive around here so we never go to them.

Sometimes I get it washed and sometimes I do it. Depends on my mood!

I wash it myself. Usually the whole family goes outside and we do it together, the kids like getting squirted by the hose.

I voted for car wash, but there are some variables.

I'd say 90% of the time I just go through the car wash. I have a minivan and it's hard to get the top or the whole windshield and hood when I do it myself.

Plus being in Minnesota - not real easy to wash your car out in the driveway when it's 20 below zero!
