Would you ever submit a tape of your home for an Extreme House Makeover on TV?

I watched that show last week and it was so amazing, and so beautiful the way they did over that couple's house. It looked like something out of House Beautiful, like one of those model homes. Everytime the ladies husband saw another room in their house he started jumping up and down. They were one very appreciative couple. I'm glad that they were chosen for it.

I love this show! On the one tonight they are going to actually add a level on to the home (they are adding upward). Ty Pennington (the carpenter who was previously on Trading Spaces) is the host of this awesome new show. I'd like to sign up too, but I don't think I am half as deserving as a lot of other people.

I saw this (episode 3), and it was awesome what they did and all that they gave them, and got all that work done in such short of a period of time! I hope the homeowners can now afford all the taxes on all this. I would not apply because I like what we have, however I think it's a great thing for families that really need a home facelift. It seemed like all the neighbos were watching, and the end result surely spiffed up the neighborhood.

The only thing I really want done in my house is a storm room. Our house is only 4 years old so it's pretty new. We have a crawl space that is pretty big but I don't really want to go down there if I don't have to. Of course, in an emergency I probably would. It would just be easier to get into a strong room

That's one thing I like about our present house, it has a full basement so if there are any storms, at least we have a place to go for safety. Our last house didn't have a basement, and when there was a hurricane, we actually sat in our living-room and watched everything blowing around outside.

I would submit pictures of our house, but they would never choose it. It's not all that up-to-date, but it's not bad either.

I would love to have a makeover on my home. Wow, adding a 2nd level!!! That would be great. I've seen a couple of the shows, they are amazing.

My friend entered herself in that show. They have a nice house, but needs a little maintenance work. They do incredible things on that show!
