Redoing the bathroom

I'm so happy my DH finally decided to do something about our bathroom. It needs a new subfloor, new floor tiles, and he said we're getting rid of the strawberry pink tiles on the walls, yeah! Today he decided to work on the plumbing for the toilet we are temporarily going to use in our garage while he's doing the work. I'm guessing I'll be helping so I guess I'd better get a lot of sleep just in case. Right now the bathroom is so neat, I moved alot of stuff out of there and despite the tiles which are off the floor looking ghastly, it actually looks halfway decent for a change. I love my new stool I put in there, almost looks like something you'd find in a ritzy hotel. Well...almost.

I sure wish my dh would redo my bathroom. It is so outdated and the tub is about to go thru the floor on the upside of that atleast I would have my sunk in bathtub I always wanted LOL

I think we have the same bathroom, the outdated part definitely fits what our decor is as well. Our bathtub is a set in type, normal in that way, but it is very deep, like they had in the 50's, a bit harder to scrub because of it. I wouldn't mind having one of those tub coverings put over it, to make it look newer at least. I'll bet those cost big bucks though.
