| Re: Does anyone remember the name of this shampoo? Thanks Twinplets ![]() I couldn't figure it out for the life of me. My older sis would go and buy her some for herself and I'd sneek and use it. I was the evil little sis. lol I guess I missed that thread about it. Oh well. Nothing knew for me. lol |

| Re: Does anyone remember the name of this shampoo? You can still buy this shampoo "Gee Your Hair Smells Terrific". For anyone who is nostalgic, here's where to buy it, just keep in mind it is a bit pricey now at $10.95, but hey, you can relive the past so isn't it worth it? It is a 12.75 oz bottle. Enjoy! [Only registered and activated users can see links. Either login above or Register Now] Just key in item #43347 to bring it up. If you guys have MyPoints, the Vermont Country store is one of the stores listed with them, so at least you'll get points for the dollars you spend on the shampoo. Not a bad deal then. I did hear a beauty person on TV saying that people use too much shampoo, that all you need is a little, and to just add more water to it, that it's actually better for the hair if you do this, so see, you can stretch your shampoo life this way, especially since it is going to cost you $10.95. That shampoo always smelled so good, I used to buy it too.

| Re: Does anyone remember the name of this shampoo? That reminds me of when I used to spiral curl my sisters hair. She had long stright blond hair when she was 6, (OMGosh!!! That was 15 years ago!!! aghhhhh! Anyway, we did not even use this shampoo but when I would spiral curl her hair she would run around singing and telling everyone, ALL DAY long, "I have Jhirmack, bounce back beautiful hair!" She was too funny. I don't think I will ever forget that jingle now! I do remember "Gee, your hair smells terrific!" I remember always thinking that was a pretty weird name. I think my mom bought it once. She always liked Prell though, I don't even know if they still sell that. I'm a Suave girl myself. Every once in a while I will treat myself to Pantene but I think my all time favorite was Salon Selectives. It smells so fruity and I would always get the best comments when I used it. God Bless!! | Re: Does anyone remember the name of this shampoo? I want to know if anyone remembers (and maybe even LOVED???) Hälsa shampoo? They had different varieties for different hair colors (to bring out the highlights) and smelled sooo good!

| Re: Does anyone remember the name of this shampoo? As I remember, Revlon made Milk Plus 6 shampoo (shampoo & conditioner in one). I thought of another shampoo that I loved - it smelled so good - that I can't find anymore - it's called Yucca Dew shampoo. Ooooh. Wish I could find that now!

| Re: Does anyone remember the name of this shampoo? Remember Yucca-Doo Shampoo? It contained natural soap from the plant’s roots. It's easy to make your own. Dig the root any time of the year. Split lengthwise leaving the bark on. Scrub soil from root's cracks and crevices with a stiff brush. Boil in equal parts of water until suds appear. This produces a gentle shampoo that will clean your hair without stripping it of beneficial oils. The shampoo may be stored in your refrigerator for up to a week. It also makes an excellent detergent for washing woolens and delicate items. The root may also be used as soap by simply smashing, and using it directly. It smells great and the fibrous root makes a natural scrubber, which looks like a tan Brillo pad. Adding water as you scrub produces a generous lather of white suds. |
