should I take the offer there is a job offer on the table. I would actually be making slightly less money at the beginning, but it is a LOT nicer work environment, less stressful and busy, and a healthier building, windows open, easy access to fresh air, etc.(unlike the current place I work. It is very unhealthy, a giant building filled with asbestos, etc and hermetically sealed with hardly any ventilation. There have actually been articles in the newspaper about the city possibly stepping in and tearing down the building! Not enough time on break to step outside either, I am on a high floor and waiting for an elevator down and back virtually eats up your break!)
there is a commission involved, but that wouldn't roll in for a while, and the guy said he wants to be honest, not everyone makes a lot of commission, but as long as you do your job and try, they don't hassle you, and you keep getting the base salary (it's an actual base not a "draw" against future commissions).
It is a local small business that has been around for about 10years, and is owned by a retired politician that is a nice guy that everyone likes (altho the office mgr is kind of a b*** but I would be working under some cool young dude and not deal with her that much).
I have to call the dude back tommorow!
Thanks guys!
