Re: You won't see this on a Mcdonalds Commercial

It seems like the people I see most often at fast food places ARE obese, more than the general population. I feel sorry yet frustrated for them as they stuff their kids with fries and cokes. The poor kids will be affected the rest of their lives, not just with the social problems of being fat, but the risk of heart problems and diabetes, which a young person shouldn't have to worry about.

Seriously guys....not all of those two kids problems lie with McDonalds. I'm sure their parents don't take them to McDonalds every day. This has got to be problem with their diet on a whole, not just at McDonalds. I would be scared to death to have children that big at that age. They need some serious help from a doctor.

That's just so sad. This is beyond "he's a big boy"...all of my 3 kids have gone through a "chunky" stage...and now I have one who seems to burn off calories before the food even reaches his lips.

thanx!
the Web Site says the Film won an award at the Sundance Film Festival.

I don't even know why people eat at McDonalds (or other similar places) so much anyway. Besides that it will clog your arteries and give you a heart attack, it really doesn't taste good. I can make much tastier, cheaper, healthier food at home. And some things are even faster--a nice salad with crisp healthy vegetables, for example.
