At Ms-Dos prompt:
To find your open ports, type in this command: netstat -ao, then tape the enter key. This brings up a fairly long list of ports, and only the ones designated as open. The only ones you should see are for your own Web Browser or other stuff that you know about. To find a list of dangerous ports, try this list by the Sans Group.
