While on a trip to another city, your spouse (or lover) meets and spends a night with an exciting stranger. Given that they will never meet again, and that you will not otherwise learn of the incident, would you want your partner to tell you about it? If roles were reversed, would you reveal what you had done?

I would want him to tell. If the roles were reversed I think not telling would eat away at me and eventually cause a rift in our relationship anyway. It would make the next time temptation came along easier.
Yes, if he told me I would be angry, but there would be no secrets and hopefully we could use it to avoid future temptations and problems down the road.
Whether he told or did not tell, either way it would cause hurt, might as well be one swift blow that can be dealt with and healed over time than the kind that will over time cause deterioration, (sp??)

I wouldn't want to know, and even though I'd feel guilty if I were the one to meet the stranger, I wouldn't want to hurt my spouse, but...did I say I'd feel guilty? I'm glad this isn't a real scenario 'cause I just couldn't do it.
