Arrow Does anyone do My Points, and do you like it?

I just signed up for this. You can earn points for money you spend at the different stores online. I wish I was aware of this before ordering online just the other day. How do you like it?

Re: Does anyone do My Points, and do you like it?

It's the only points program I still do.
If I don't order anything, I still do their email points...visit a site and get 5 points.
I got 2000 pts. for buying the DVD Xmen 2 and yesterday I placed a $50 thru Lancome for 2250 points. Sometimes it takes a bit to have your points show up, but if you keep track and email them they seem to work pretty fast, at least for me they have. Just waiting for my Lancome points and I'll have a bit over 9500 points for a little over a year of saving. Last year I used my points for gift cards for Red Lobster/Olive Garden as gifts to my UPS man and then some for my in laws.

Re: Does anyone do My Points, and do you like it?

I don't do that much shopping through them unless there is an email offering more points. I do the email 5 pts and try to check other freebie points. Reflect.com had some 750 point emails for any order. Tupperware used to have the big points for small orders though that has changed and now depends on how much you spend. I like the program. I have used it for 3+ years and have never had an issue that didn't take more than one email to fix. I usually cash mine in for Home Depot or Chilis.

Re: Does anyone do My Points, and do you like it?

I've been with MyPoints since the beginning, when you had to call an 800 number to cash out your points. It has always been the most consistently good points program. I make most of my points through clicking on BonusMail, but if there is a really terrific bargain available, I'm also willing to make a purchase through the site.

Re: Does anyone do My Points, and do you like it?

I love My Points. I rarely order anyting online but using the 5 point emails I get a decent gift certificate every christmas to use for myself or for a gift. THe points are credited in a timely manner and whenever I have cashed my points in I have always received my award very quickly. I used to do memolink. I don't know if they still exist but I cashed in my points there for two different prizes and a year and a half later and several emails with replies assuring me the item was sent or they would get on it right away, I still do not have my rewards. Those are the only two point programs I know of but I would definately reccomend mypoints!

God BLess!!

Re: Does anyone do My Points, and do you like it?

MyPoints is WONDERFUL! I cannot tell you how much I have gotten. There are so many great ways to get points (shopping, email, sign-ups) and their customer service is excellent!

I cahsed out for 4, $10 WalMart GC's and never got them. E-mailed them and they said the order was sent but they would resend them. Out of the blue got them the other day and I was this close to just saying forget it.

Here is a list of GC's I have gotten:
Eddie Bauer $25
Barnes and Noble $25
WalMart $40

And numerous $5 and $10 BlockBuster and Target cards...lol I can't say enough about MyPoints! I love it!

Re: Does anyone do My Points, and do you like it?

Great site! Takes a while to get your gift certificates but worth it.

I order my contacts online through them and 1-800-Contacts and that is how I accumulate a lot of points.

Re: Does anyone do My Points, and do you like it?

Ok, stupid question here. Do I just go into the My Points web-site to check on how many points I have, and do they let you know by E-mail how many points you have per month without you doing that? Clueless here.

Re: Does anyone do My Points, and do you like it?

you get a monthly statement that tells you how many points you have, also, every time you get an email to get points it gives you your current points available. You can alos go to the website to cvheck on your point status.
They make it very easy for you. That is one of the things I like about mypoints!

God Bless!!!

Re: Does anyone do My Points, and do you like it?

Not to change the subject from the original topic, but I think Memolink is the biggest scam going. I have been a member for a long time and have never received a reward that I ordered. They recently changed me to Memogold without my permission, supposedly to compensate me for not receiving the things I ordered in a timely fashion. I still have not received anything, and when I check my account I have lost tons of points AND they changed the date on which I submitted my requests for rewards to make it look like it has not been very long, when in fact it has been months and months. I do not know why i bother with them at all, but I still do the trivia daily.

As to MyPoints, I have been a member there for a long time and I really enjoy it. I do miss those great Tupperware deals I used to do monthly though. They want you to spend to much on Tupperware now to get any points, so I have stopped that.
I also do [Only registered and activated users can see links. Either login above or Register Now] and [Only registered and activated users can see links. Either login above or Register Now] and have enjoyed the trivia and daily site points tremendously. Our points and rewards forum covers the trivia answers quite well. You need 9000 points to get any sort of prize, but at the rate of 50 points a day it is not too bad.

Re: Does anyone do My Points, and do you like it?

Every day MyPoints sends something and I look at it just to receive five more points. Only one time did I buy anything and I think it was from Office Depot. The points accumulate quickly and I have redeemed them for many gift certificates. It's a great, reliable program.

Re: Does anyone do My Points, and do you like it?

I just signed up to receive Clairol shampoo/conditioner and took a mini survey, they said I would receive 5 points. Why doesn't it reflect that when I go into my account at My Points? Does it take a few days 'til they show up?

Yes. The shortest time you have to wait is overnight. Sometimes it takes quite a while, but I find them quite reliable.

Usually the 5 point opportunities take just 24 hrs. to show up in your account...it is NEVER an instant credit.
