There are these suede boots. I just checked online to see if they were on sale, and of course, they're not. They only cost $248! I'm not kidding. They were designed by Peter Kent, whom I'm unfamiliar with as a designer. Ok, here's a picture of them, but picture them in the light tan color, what they call natural: [Only registered and activated users can see links. Either login above or Register Now]

There are a few times that I would have liked something but knew it was out of the question because of money, etc. But you know, I don't think I 'want' for things as much as I once did. I don't know if it is because I am finally happy and content or what it is. But I have to say when I do want something it is ALWAYS something that there is NO way we could ever afford........like right now there is this house I would LOVE to have but there is no way that is happening. Even hubby has commented on how he really likes it. Of course that would mean selling our house we live in now and that is easier said than done and then there is the thing about money.......... .........this house is almost triple what our house cost.

I know just what you mean, I see these beautiful homes all the time and think, hmmmm, wish we could live in a place like that, but the prices out our way are outrageous for homes and property included, so we're staying in our small house for a bit longer. I have to keep getting creative though where to put everything.

I don't think there are many things I want so bad. Maybe that is because of years of everyone else coming first. I do want to do some things to my house and right now we can't. I hope in the next year I can spend some money on tile floors. We'll have to see how much financial aid DD gets for college. |

I get so tired of having to 'find' places to put things. I even have started bringing stuff we don't use or need anymore down to the store to sell and it still seems like we don't have room..... This one house we drive past everyday when we go to my parents house is so beautiful! It is 4 bedroom and 2 1/2 bath, 2 car garage, built in swimming pool, and lots of other extras. I would LOVE to have it. The realtor put a sign out the other day that said reduced to hubby called to see what they reduced it too and he about choked. The realtor told him the sellers were really motivated. I heard hubby tell her that is way more than we could ever afford. They would really have to be motivated to sell it for what we could afford. lol I would love to see the inside but I know it would make me only want it more. I have only seen pictures of it and and of course have seen the outside of it.

Our house is over 50 years old and is full of cracks and holes. It gets so cold in the winter. And the way the rooms are designed - you have to walk through one to get to another plus they have small closets. I know what you all mean about wanting another one sometimes. Oh, let's not forget about that Corvette I've been wanting forever also. LOL. |

Our house was built in the 50's, so we have the same small closets you're speaking of. I love clothes so you can just imagine how crammed full they are. I have a whole rubbermaid container in our attic just filled with shoes.
