Does anyone know the KMart return policy?

Hi everyone,

My boyfriend received a gift without a gift receipt, and he would rather not mention to the person who gave it to him that he is returning it. We tried to return it to Wal-mart, but they said that they do not carry that exact model (it's the George Foreman grill...big one). We thought we would try KMart, and we are wondering if Kmart will take things back without a receipt in exchange for store credit if they carry the product? We are also thinking we might take it to Kohl's if KMart doesn't take it...oh those pesky returns!

Our Home Depot will take back without a receipt if they carry the product. They give you a store credit in the shape of a credit card to use.

I think Kmart will do the same. Can only try anyhow.
