Thumbs up If you dye your hair, here's an inexpensive product which works great

Clairol Balsam color. I just used it, and the color looks really natural. It's just $2.67 a bottle at Wal-mart. The catch you ask? It doesn't come with conditioner, but...you can use whatever conditioner you have at home after coloring your hair, just leave it on for at least 2 minutes, 5 if you want more conditioning. I'm trying to stay on some sort of budget, so I'm glad I tried it.

This web-site carries it, just not in every color. You're better off going to Wal-mart, much cheaper there.

I use it when I need to color my hair but I don't want to spend alot of money. It's ridiculas some of the prices they charge for haircolor. Specially when I know how much we used to pay for it when I worked at the salon.

I know, I think the L'oreal brand was around $8.99, even for Wal-mart I think that's a bit pricey. This stuff works just as well, and if I have to use my own conditioner, I say big deal, that's fine with me.

My hair and I swear by Clairol products. I use whichever Clairol product is on sale and/or has a great coupon.

I stocked up on some of this when there was a coupon out for $2.50 off any Clairol Hair Color, 17cents each at Wal-Mart was awesome. I do want to warn anyone who has never used it before, if you are using a dark color, time it carefully or you may end up with a weird hair color for a few days. I once left the auburn on too long when I was in the middle of coloring and a friend had a car wreck. I walked around for a month with purple hair. LOL!

Re: If you dye your hair, here's an inexpensive product which works great

I bought the ultra light golden blonde. My hair looks almost platinum blonde. Not exactly the look I was going for, but hey, it was only $2.00 and something. If there's any gold in it, it's not on my head. Fortunately I am a blonde, so it looks OK, but it sure came out light! I'm probably going to try a bit darker shade next time. Maybe I'll just go back to L'oreal, their light golden blonde was kind of nice. I'll just have to see if I can get a coupon for it. FYI, the Clairol Balsam color is a bit drippier than the L'oreal brand, so if you don't mind that, then I say go for it. I didn't have a problem dealing with that.
