Exclamation Prayers Please for the election
Dear DOD friends,
My husband is running for sheriff in our county and I could sure use your prayers. He has ran a clean campaign including the promise to work without pay and to clean up our schools. He is a career military man who was recalled after 9-11. Prayer is as powerful as a vote, I am worried to death because I love him very much. Your prayers would be greatly apprecicated, the election is tomorrow here in Virginia. Thank you all so much, Melissa

Good Lord, he's willing to be a *sheriff* without pay?!!! I can't imagine that! That's a tough, dangerous job. Someone who is as dedicated as your husband is should be a shoo-in! (But I'll still say a prayer for him.)

Melissa, I'll keep him in my prayers, I hope he wins tomorrow. We have elections here in Connecticut tomorrow as well, for First Selectman etc. The thing is, if you're not home when the candidates come by, you have no idea what their stand is on anything, only one person put it in writing in their pamphlet.
