How many of these good deals are still in your closet??

I pulled a box out of my closet thinking "what is this?". Opened it up to find a bunch of things I bought online for just in case gifts. Forgot all about them!!

I know I got caught up a few times and bought some things that I thought were a great deal and I still have stashed. How about you?

Anyone need some Harry Potter sorting hat ornaments? LOL

I still have the cheap, actually I think it was free, attache case from Staples. I think I paid less than $1 with ordering pencils. Shipping was free.

*sigh* the good ol' days.

I know what ya mean cata5!

Anyone want a set of stuffed animals from "Frosty the Snowman?"(CVS a couple years ago!!)

I also have some toys stashed for birthday invites that never come! I always think my kids will get invited to a party, and I'll have my stash of toys ready to delve into. Inevitably, the person is the wrong age, not into that kind of toy, wrong gender, something!!!

I had 3 boxes of freebies and cheapies before I pulled them out and gave them all away. That part was fun!

SOOO true! Both my boys are invited to parties this weekend and we were mulling the gift stash...One boy is an only and has EVERYTHING. I think I will have to get movie tickets for him or something like that. The other boy just went to a party that my son went to and though I would like to give him Blo Pens I feel weird because that is what we gave the other kid!! I bought about 8 of those big sets at Target when they were 75% off. Even I am tired of those now. (They were great for boys or girls.) I don't want kids to think that's all we give. I know they probably don't even realize...maybe not...

I definitely have the luggage that I got from Viking FREE. My order was cancelled and they still sent the free carry on. How weird is that?

If you have the same carry on that I do (I'm pretty sure it was from Viking) free with $25 purchase or something like that, boy that has been a great freebie. My husband and I were engaged at the time (early 2000) and since we had separate households we each got one. Those two bags have been to Hawaii, California, Florida, New Hampshire, Vermont, Maine, Rhode Island, Connecticut, North Carolina and Tennessee on leisure trips plus my husband has taken his to several other states on business. The bags show no sign of wear whatsoever so I think they will be travelling with us for years to come. Except for one time on a small regional jet where you had to check your baggage we do carry them on board so the "luggage throwers" at the airport don't have a chance to abuse them. They have definitely been worth placing an order for things we would have bought anyway to get the luggage.

Yup, me too! I bought two sets, one for each DD. I thought it would be a cute thing for them to have when they leave home and get their own places. Of course, I haven't been able to keep them out of them....seems like the Abdomible (sp?) snowman and Rudolph are the favorite....it was a good deal, tho!!!

I got mine more recently when everyone was ordering wrapping paper from them. I put it away thinking it would be a good graduation present. Seems pretty nice. I hope it is the same as yours!

I wish I would've ordered more CVS ornaments rather than the stuffed toys. I loved the ornaments. Still have some of the stuffed toys, too.

I also still have a bunch of stuff from Great Entertaining. I think I ordered 4 times when they were going out of business. I used lots of it, but still have some paper products and a few miscellaneous toys. I'm not worried about those things. I will use those eventually.

We actually still have some of that free toilet paper - I ordered so much I had to store it in the rafters in the garage!

Great Entertaining - I got these wonderful acrylic party trays, ice bucket and square bowls. We'll be using these for some time yet - they're the same type that you see the caterers using.

I also have baby stuff here from Amazon's stackable coupon deals. I got it thinking that I'd give it to DD's friend who was expecting but then she moved away to be with the baby's daddy. So now it's sitting there waiting for someone at DH's office to have a baby - and I know that if I eBay it or give it away, someone will announce the next day that they're pregnant and I'll have to shell out big bucks for a shower gift.

We also have the gift closet and those strange gifts inside. I figure either they'll be used soon or else I'm going to eBay them
