I have a 3 year old little girl who loves to do arts and crafts while her big sister is at kindergarten. I am running out of ideas and thought all of you crafty people could help me out. We tried the play doh thing on friday and most of it ended up in the carpet. So daddy said no more play doh. She loves to paint so we have been doing alot of that. But, I think she might be getting tired of painting. Any ideas will be helpful. Thank you, Sharon __________________ Check out these [Only registered and activated users can see links. Dry pasta. Glue it on paper in a design (elbow macaroni) or thread it on yarn to make a necklace!(tube pasta works well) In school they always do "finger painting" with pudding. messy!! ![]() leaf rubbings with crayons Cutting pictures from magazines for a collage. (How are the cutting skills?) Closer to Halloween you can cut a pumpkin and also cook the seeds. That would be two days of fun! You might want to buy modeling clay as it doesn't crumble like play doh. You may have to make a rule where you can play with it....like a table or kitchen vinyl/ceramic floor. ![]() __________________ Check out these [Only registered and activated users can see links. My dd is 4 and loves to use a glue stick! I cut up all different colors of construction paper into little shapes and then she rubs the glue stick on them and creates a design on a big piece of construction paper. This seems to keep her busy for a while and we love her little works of art. ![]() I like the watercolor paints as well. She also loves playdoh...yup, it's messy!...lol. I tape wax paper onto my kitchen table before she uses the playdoh. That way it won't ruin my table and I can clean up quick. I can't wait to check out all the websites listed. There are so many!!! Thanks! ![]() Lori __________________ Check out these [Only registered and activated users can see links.
