| "Murder on a Bad Hair Day" by Anne George. Very funny mystery. Anne George was from Birmingham, AL (died last year I believe) and all her stories mention things and places I am actually familiar with.

| One of these days I will start reading for myself. I am reading Artemis Fowl to the boys. Someone said my ds would like it and I bought it for his birthday in July. Just started reading it a couple of weeks ago and I haven't been consistent at all. Plus it is a hard one to read out loud because it jumps back and forth without notice. One minute you are reading about the fairy and the next about Artemis. Anyway, so far so good. ![]() __________________ Check out these [Only registered and activated users can see links. | I've been addicted to the VC Andrews books lately. They are so predictable and mostly all follow the same basic plot, but for some reason I can stop reading them...lol. All my other books are on hold for now... I've read the Dollganger series and the Orphans series. I'm now on the Landry series. Still have alot to go... |

| Just this morning I finished "Three Junes" by Julia Glass. I didn't really like it...I don't see how it won the National Book Award and has been on the Paperback Best Sellers list for weeks.

| "Derailed" by James Siegel. There are some graphic sections and some language, but, oh my, what a suspenseful book. I'm going to check some books out by Elizabeth Berg now. Thanks for the rec, Pip.
