I started "Persuader" by Lee Child when I began moving last month. And am starting it again now.

I just finished reading "The Secret Ingredient" by Jane Heller. This woman can write! What a hilarious, twisted tale.

Reading some books by Gary Paulson right now. He's such a good writer for the levels I teach with. I loved his Tucket Series...

Anyone ever read Born Blue? Very good book..

"Thursdays at Eight" by Debbie Macomber ... a small group of women meet for breakfast every Thursday at 8 a.m. The book is about their trials, tribulations, and successes in life ... a very good read.

"Murder on a Bad Hair Day" by Anne George. Very funny mystery. Anne George was from Birmingham, AL (died last year I believe) and all her stories mention things and places I am actually familiar with.

I am a fast reader but goodness that seems lightnin fast!

Isnt number 5 over 800 pages???!!!

Anyway... for those of you that love LOVE based stories but not ROMANCE NOVELS.... have you read the Nicholas Sparks Books?

I just love them all.

The Notebook
The Guardian
The Wedding
A Bend in the Road
A Walk TO Remember
Message in a Bottle
Nights in Rodanthe
The Rescue

These are not very long but they are good. The best one I think is the Notebook.

One of these days I will start reading for myself.
I am reading Artemis Fowl to the boys. Someone said my ds would like it and I bought it for his birthday in July. Just started reading it a couple of weeks ago and I haven't been consistent at all. Plus it is a hard one to read out loud because it jumps back and forth without notice. One minute you are reading about the fairy and the next about Artemis. Anyway, so far so good.

I've been addicted to the VC Andrews books lately. They are so predictable and mostly all follow the same basic plot, but for some reason I can stop reading them...lol. All my other books are on hold for now...

I've read the Dollganger series and the Orphans series. I'm now on the Landry series.

Still have alot to go...

Just this morning I finished "Three Junes" by Julia Glass.

I didn't really like it...I don't see how it won the National Book Award and has been on the Paperback Best Sellers list for weeks.

Crystal Clear ... by Jane Heller. "A novel of kisses, kidnapping and karma" ... "Heller blends romance, mystery and wit".

"Derailed" by James Siegel. There are some graphic sections and some language, but, oh my, what a suspenseful book.

I'm going to check some books out by Elizabeth Berg now. Thanks for the rec, Pip.
