once again, DOD has spoiled me for other message boards

yo, there is a sports related message board I used to go to occasionally. I am not the biggest sports fan, but they allow you to talk about pro wrestling (which a lot of sports boards don't) and I used to post there. I received an email today from a guy I met through that board. We exchange email now and then for the past year, neither of us have been going to that board. He emailed me today, "remember ____.com", I started a post. So I checked the board. Essentially, he posted about Barry Bonds latest comments. Bonds said he is better than Babe Ruth and in a few years he'll make people forget about Ruth. My friend posted how the stats show Bonds isn't even approaching Babe Ruth. The only response he got was 2 replies telling him sarcastically to use "Mr Searchy" and linking to previous discussions about Bond's arrogance. The thread was locked by a moderator without explanation.
Well, my friend was posting NEW information. The previous thread was about Bonds general arrogance, not eating with other teammates,etc. If anything, my friends post was MORE "ontopic" than any previous discussions of Bonds, he used actual stats to back up his claims. But as people have pointed out when I got mad about another board, most boards have a "clicque" of original people who control it. DOD has some oldtimers, but new blood comes in too. It spoils you, I can't deal with other boards bs

PS, I include DE as a good board too, it doesn't get as much "action" as DOD but its cool too

DOD is my favorite board too. I tried others, but I keep coming back to this one.
