Anyone familiar with Northern Idaho?

I'm going to be doing chemistry research in Idaho this summer. Well, actually I'll be living in the University of Idaho dorms and working at Washington State University. Is anyone here familiar with the Moscow, ID/ Pullman, WA area? I'm going to be spending 10 weeks there so please tell me what a wonderful place it is
