 GAS PRICES!!!!! So what are the gas prices like in your area now????? I am going to fill up today. They came down to $1.27 over the weekend for regular unleaded. | I can't remember the exact price we paid when we filled up this past Saturday. I think it was around $1.39. I'm glad gas prices are dropping, especially since we have a 40 gallon tank in our new Suburban!!! | Just got back from Kaua'i and the gas prices there averaged $2.20!!!! We should be thankful that prices on the mainland are as cheap as they are! | I never have this kind of luck, but a friend of mine drove to a nearby town last week to play bridge and discovered a gas war was going on. She arrived earlier than planned, so stopped and filled the car for around $1.09/gallon. That evening, on the way home, she noticed that the price had returned to normal.
