When was your first post, and what was it about?

Shainie, When I read the topic here, my first thought was "Dang, I can't even remember what I ate for breakfast yesterday-How can I remember that?" But then I saw how everyone was searching so that worked great! LOL! My first post was asking about a cheap batteries deal in May of 2000:

Wow, it is strange to see some of the names on these old threads. Many people have come and gone in 3 years. It's kinda sad. I'm glad for all of us that have been around that long tho. (And all ya newer people too of course!)

I can only go back as far as October 16, 2000 when I replied to a post from my husband wjmmoore.

I know it was in the freebie section though.

Mine was 07-07-2000.
It was about a problem I had with guild.com. The post now reads that I resolved my problem with the company. Actually I just thought I'd resolved it.
I still hate that company. What a bunch of IDIOTS!

Naw.. it just means that your first post(s) were deleted during one of our many cleaning sprees.

Not to worry about that anymore though - we stopped doing deletes on the really old posts when people started complaining about their post counts decreasing by 100 or more overnight.

Although I had posted prior to what's in my profile, it shows my first as 10-09-2000 and it's in a thread about HealthCentralRX not shipping orders. I'd forgotten about that charming experience... after I complained, they shipped me a large box containing one toothbrush.

My first post was on Oct 15, 2000 in response to someone looking for free phone cards. Wow, there was a pretty rude response to the original op in this thread...lol. Some people! The best part is how other DODers jumped to her defense. That's what I like about DOD.
