 Easter candy leftovers......
Okay everybody, ya know we are all going to Target tomorrow for 1/2 price Easter stuff.... (well, not everybody, but I'm gonna try to). I have a question: How good is chocolate after you freeze it? I'm talking about Hershey's Kisses, etc. After all those holidays from Halloween to Easter, we won't have any cheap candy till Halloween again. Can I buy some 1/2 price tomorrow and freeze it? Candy bars frozen are good, and I'm sure the kisses would be ok, but I don't know about for how long.

Chocolate doesn't last that long in my house so I can't say for sure how long it would last. I usually just put what we get in the fridge and in no time it is all gone. lol

It should be ok. The color change is just the cocoa butter coming to the top...but that usually happens when the chocolate gets hot, then cooled. I have kept frozen candy for months. Mostly because I forgot about it...lol.
