I agree, Josh was pretty bad!

I also agree with what Simon said about Clay, he'd make a fantastic Broadway actor, but maybe not a recording artist.

Trenyce is still my favorite, although a little disappointing last night.

In the end...I think most will agree that it's going to be RUEBEN, but he does need to look out for Kimberly L.

Dd and I liked Kimberly way back when she was singing with Frenchie, but something happened later and I was not too impressed for a while. Well, now I believe she is starting to get it. Just like she said...she had to warm up to the TV thing. I love how she looks now.

I missed Josh last night when I had to take a call so I don't know how bad he did.lol I think he is a great singer, but definitely cannot sing just anything. Carmen is the same for me. Good singer, but not an American Idol. I hope SHE gets the boot tonight so we can get on with it.

Pretty much ditto to everyone here! Ruben and Kimberly were great, Trenyce is my favorite, but she wasn't all that impressive last night.

Also agree that Clay could be a broadway singer, but not a recording artist. He's just too animated or something.

Josh didn't do that great, and his lips bother me when he sings. LOL They always seem to be in an "O" shape.

I forgot to add that Clay LOOKED good last night. Finally had a great outfit on and the judges didn't even comment!

Dd and I were in TJMaxx yesterday looking for a shirt for Dh. I saw this purple striped button down shirt and held it up for Dd. I asked her who it looked like. She thought for 2 seconds and said "Clay". I said "Yup!" and we both laughed.

Wow!! I was surprised to see Josh in the bottom two. I know Trenyce is a better singer but I thought Josh had the military vote tied up!

Can't believe 21.5 million votes were cast!! I wish they would tell us how many votes each are getting. I wonder who gets the most votes....Clay or Reuben?

Going forward..... Josh needs to show that he can sing something besides country. I love Clay and think his voice is gorgeous but he is a bit of a "drama queen" and I think that will hurt him with the voters. Kimberly Locke is pure class, and she gets better in every way each week. Trenyce is good, but probably not good enough to win. Rubin is talented but he is coasting.

Of course, all of this is JMO

Tues. night I checked out the AI message board. Carmen fans were going crazy said her # was busy for the full two hours. I was nervous for Josh, I didn't want to see him go before her.
I think simon was right saying it didn't matter who went because neither of them have of shot at winnig.
I loved Josh b4 he started the country music. It wouldn't be bad if he could hold it, but he looks like it's a struggle for him. Last night he kept switching his voice.

What a RELIEF!!! I was really sweatin' the idea that she might be this year's Nikki. Right now, I think the ONLY one who's taking the competition seriously is Kimberley Locke. She's making super-smart song choices and is paying attention to what the judges tell her every week. As I posted several weeks ago, Clay and Ruben ARE coasting....and it's about time they wised up and stepped up their game a bit. I think Simon was dead-on when he told them to watch out for Kimberley. She could very well be this year's Kelly. (Remember, Kelly started out as just another one in the top ten until she started stepping up her game, week after week, and the judges took notice....as did the rest of America!)
