I'm not sure I understand your generalization in this paragraph, but I think just the fact that Kim L, Ruben and Clay are still in this thing should disprove that the voters are concerned with just looks. As far as apearance and image, Kim C and Carmen are the only ones left that look like the typical "pop star" AI was originally created to find. Personally, I'm glad for the change and FOX obviously goes with the flow (cash flow that is)

Clay does have odd facial expressions and he is very "theatrical" in his performances in general, but I don't think anyone has said that those items take away from his signing ability. The guy can obviously sing

Okay, truthfully, I'm a little shocked that the "other one" didn't go first. (Can I say this now, or has Hawaii seen the broadcast yet?) Anyhoo, on we go to next week....maybe they'll start getting the message that they need to step it up!!! At least Kimberley Locke did!!!

Kimberly C is gone. It should have been Carmen, but she'll probably get kicked off next week anyway. I have been wondering who is voting for her too. Kim's voice is better than Carmen's, plus she is gorgeous. Carmen must have been very nervous, because she had a ton of breakouts on her cheeks.

I couldn't believe that Carmen didn't go last night!! Kim was a better singer than her in my opinion. I didn't like Kim's look last night though.

Now that there are six left....I think the three women will all go out in a row leaving Josh, Clay and Ruben in the final three. All three women left have been in the bottom three before while none of the men left have ever been in the bottom three.

I saw that promo too, but then thought, "Isn't it a LIVE show? So do all the judges know whose being booted beforehand? Or maybe that was just a sound bite they thought they'd use to get people to watch.

Carmen's family must be working overtime on those phonelines! I hope her luck runs out next week.
