Guess what HAPPENED TO ME today!!
And this is in no way an April Fools joke... very honestly this happened to me!

I always take the bus to work and usually if not always exit the back door. Today was no different. A few people got off before me and I stepped off and IMMEDIATELY I was hit by something really hard!

A COP on a BIKE it me so hard on my right side! I took the brunt of the force to my right elbow (owie.... have a bruise) and then I was knocked to the ground and he ran over my leg! That is also sore right now!

THE WORST PART OF ALL.... the COP never even STOPPED, SAID SORRY, EXCUSE ME OR ANYTHING!

he just kept speeding away on his bike!

So now I am a bit ticked at the MPLS police dept. Can you believe this happened to me!?!

I am going to get some advice tomorrow from my professor.. but other than that I don't know what to do.

I think people are still thinking this is April Fools... thats why I HATE this day! ITS NOT APRIL FOOLS! I was really hit and am REALLY SORE!

Wow.. I'm sorry to hear that happened to you. I hope you are allright.

I would have done one of two things:

#1. Fell to the ground in seizures (faking, of course) and become independently wealthy. (sorry.. just kidding)

#2. Made an official complaint and took down names of witnesses if possible.

Wow, I was really surprised reading what happened to you.....didn't see that one coming [oh, sorry...bad pun, huh!]. Just trying to make you smile!

I would definitely call the police station and tell them what happened. Maybe the cop feels terrible and will be glad to find out who you are, so he can apologize and tell you what was happening. I am hoping there was a good reason for him not to stop [like the person he was chasing was really dangerous or something]. If it turns out the person he was chasing didn't do anything that serious, I will be very mad! By not stopping, the cop doesn't even know how badly he hurt you!

Please let us know what happens after you call.
