Ok, it's that time....come forward and admit to your best April Fool's Joke you've played or had played on you. I did the ole' I'm pregnant joke a few years ago, but other than that, nothing too creative from little old me....

I've never done anything elaborate, but this year I will be at the elementary school volunteering and could use some simple ideas to play on the kids. Or maybe I should get in the defensive mode to ward off the jokes they may try to play on me??

My old favorite is a potato in the tailpipe of an automobile.

Closeup tooth paste in the receiver of a phone.

Jack up a car and put blocks on the axles so that the tires are barely touching, but look okay to the unsuspecting victim. Car will just sit there and spin tires without moving.

Trash can full of water leaned up against the door (door must open inwards.)

I am starting to get wicked. These were old college day pranks, lol. I had better stop before I tattle too much on myself.

Yep, I've done that one too

I've 'edited' an e-mail and forwarded it to Charlie @ work. I think it was announcing soem sort of Yankees contest.......I changed it to make it look like Charlie had won!

One of my friends is a recovering alcoholic. She has been "on the wagon" for several years, thanks to AA and the grace of God. Imagine my horror when she called me at 5:00 in the morning, sobbing about how she had been arrested for DUI (driving under the influencel) and needed me to bail her out of jail. I was shocked out of my mind! I was desperately trying to sound soothing, while frantically searching for my purse and trying to figure out what to do, when she started laughing wildly and shouted "April Fool's!"

I have never forgiven her for that!

Not sure whether I should laugh or cry

ok, one that I use every year is.. I take the spray nozzle in the kitchen sink and put a rubber band on it, so that the handle is pressed down to make it spray. Then, I place it back in the sink and wait for my daughter to turn the faucet on. I always make sure it's facing right at where she'll be standing. Oddly enough, she falls for it EVERY year.
