Baffled What happened with Clay on AI tonight?

The only judge that they aired who responded to him was Simon (and he wasn't very positive!) What happened to the the other three judges?? I don't think this is fair!

Ok, well it was good....

The other judges gave standing ovations to him so I guess that's why he didn't have them speak??

I didn't like Kimberley tonight.....

Corey CLark well I just loved his song....

Rickey SMith.....not good

Kimberly Cladwell sounded like she forced her song...

goodbye Julia I think...

Definitely goodbye Julia! TERRIBLE song choice!!! Kinda like what Gladys Knight said to Trenyce last week...."how dare you pick a song by...." (except in Trenyce's case, she did just fine!!!) There are a million other lesser-known artists to choose from, but Julia had to go for Faith Hill......not a good choice!

On the other hand, there's only one thing to say about Corey's performance....UNINSPIRED!!! Geez, put a little effort behind it!!! He can't rely on that upper register forever!! I say he goes next week.

The rest of them I thought were pretty good, with the possible exception of Carmen. Gotta love Ruben....what ELSE would he sing?!?! And Simon was absolutely right....half of them didn't even come close to choosing "country rock" songs!! Demerits for all who didn't do their homework!

My two cents....which, with gas prices going back down again, will now get you to the end of the block!

It looked to me like time was running out and they still had to show a recap of all the performances. Really unfair, since Simon's comments were so wishy-washy.

It seemed soooo rushed tonight

The songs seemed much shorter. Josh really picked country rock. Wish he picked a different G. Brooks song though. Kimberly Coldwell did really well. Corey, Julia and Carmen can go. Ricky what was up with that song??? I didn't know it, but it sure as heck wasn't country rock or anything close to it.

The standing ovation was considered the other 3 judges "comments". I think Clay has the only true great voice of all 10 left. The Faith Hill song was too challenging for Julia. I do not see that much talent in this group.

Well, Clay won't get booted anyway so they probably thought it would be ok to skip remarks and speed up the show.

Julia has to go. I like Coreys voice on many songs...not last weeks...but I don't think he's good enough either. Kimberly Locke-I liked her early on, but I'm thinking she'll go soon, too. Carmen has improved, but still not good enough. I hope she makes it through this round just because country is her thing.

I didn't like that particular Garth Brooks song either, but Joshua was lookin' good!

As the others said, I think it was because they were running out of time. I think one hour isn't long enough, it should be 1 1/2 hours.

Clay reminds me of Josh Groban . . . a very soulful singer. I don't think he's anything to look at though.

I agree, he is not handsome. But I think an image consultant type person could make him much more attractive if he was willing to change the way he dresses and carries himself.

I sit corrected, Juliannaluv. (BTW, Julianna - spelled with two n's - is my middle name! REALLY!)

And I agree, Trenyce did nail it! She's not going anywhere anytime soon! I think she's top five material at least!
