| A small thing you can do to support our troops in Iraq Tie a yellow ribbon around a tree, or put one on your house or car. I think even those who do not fully support this war agree with me and want to show support for our soldiers who are in Iraq who are willing to die to bring freedom to the people of Iraq and to keep America safe from harm. I am not pro-war, but I fully support our brave men and women in Iraq, so I'm off to the fabric store this weekend to buy ribbon. I'll probably put it around my mirror on the outside of my car, maybe one around the banister on my porch. __________________ Check out these [Only registered and activated users can see links. | Something else I'd like to add If you know anyone with family members fighting in Iraq please offer them your time. It must be very difficult for them, offer to babysit or bring dinner over one night or just offering to listen could do a world of good for them. JMHO |

| That's such a nice idea Jennifer, especially making them a meal. I don't know of any people in the service, but if anyone out there does, I think it would mean so much to these people. Also, tie a yellow ribbon around your mailbox. I just printed off a graphic which says "Support Our Troops", colored in the ribbon on it with a yellow marker, attached cardboard to the back, put it in my back car window. It didn't print as well as I'd hoped, so I also had to write over the letters in marker, but it looks pretty good. __________________ [Only registered and activated users can see links. | As one of those who does "not fully support this war", I still support our troops. I want them all to come home safely! I have 2 cousins over there, in Special Forces. So, yes, I will tie a yellow ribbon on my porch and car. Thanks for the idea, 3tbear! |

| Try and find a yellow ribbon around here, ugh. Nearly impossible. I think everyone bought out all the yellow ribbon there was in Wal-mart. I have to get to my fabric store, hope I have better luck there. __________________ Check out these [Only registered and activated users can see links.
