Deal of Day CONTEST this week!

Hey Gang,

Listen up! Deal of Day is having a "Post Your Best Deal" contest and it is starting in just a few days. There are PRIZES to be won, not to mention fame and glory!

Here are the specifics:

The contest begins Wednesday, 3/26 at 12 am CST. It will run until Friday, 3/28 at 11:59 pm CST. During this period, all registered DoD members may post what they think is a GREAT DEAL in Internet and Retail Deals forum. Posts made to other forums are always welcome, but they will not count for this contest.

Post as many deals as you want, but make them good, because our moderators and your peers are judging on QUALITY. Here are the criteria:

1. Originality - don't just cut and paste the deal from another site. If you are caught plaguerizing, it will count against ya!

2. Number of positive responses to your post - because others are going to judge your efforts

3. Number of views by others - we can tell if you are the one repeatedly viewing a post, so no cheating!

After the contest is over, our moderators will pick the top 10. At that point, we will do a poll and YOU will get to vote on the winner over the weekend. We will then select the top THREE selected by you and they will be our big winners!

Now then, what about prizes you ask?

1st Prize - $25 Amazon.com Gift Certificate

2nd Prize - $15 Tupperware Gift Certificate

3rd Prize - $5 Tupperware Gift Certificate

Remember, this contest is not just about QUANTITY, but QUALITY!

Additional contest info: the decision of the mods is FINAL. The decision of the vote by the members for the top three is subject to review by DoD. DoD's final interpretation of these results may differ from the vote in the odd case that we might find that someone has cheated. Cheating bad. Bad bad bad. Posting deals. Goooooood. If you aren't ok, with these rules, don't enter the contest. ;-)
