That was one of the worse movies ever. I had to watch it at 3 different settings because I kept falling asleep. I should have just returned it, but I wanted to see if it was going to get any better. It plain s u c k e d!!!!

My votes go to.... (drum roll)....

Escape from L.A. - extremely cheesy and unbelievably bad special effects, especially considering that it's fairly recent.

Mulholland Drive....HUH???

...and the ONLY movie I ever walked out of a theatre...

Night of the Living Dead

Thanks for the tips on Lake Placid and a couple of others I've been curious about, but hesitant to see. Glitter is definitely on the "NO WAY" list, I wish I hadn't bothered with Evita. I also stay away from Mike Myers/David Spade/Rob Schneider flicks, but have enjoyed some from Jim Carrey (NOT Dumb & Dumber). Another stinker I won't consider EVER seeing is Travolta's Battleship Earth. I hear that one is a royal flop!

Unhappy

Feardotcom sounded like it would be good but I heard it was stinky. What a bummer. Like Escape from LA. I hate when you have high hopes for a movie (I like Escape From NY) and they let you down.

"What Dreams May Come"...VERY depressing...everyone dies, even the dog. A very old B & W movie, "On Borrowed Time". A man in an apple tree is DEATH, and cannot take his latest charge to his eternity. It involves a grandfather and his grandson, the song "Beautiful Dreamer", very depressing...You have not seen BAD, until "On Borrowed Time."

I don't know why I never read this thread before. Hmmm... some of you are never invited to go to the movies with me - I'm afraid I LOVE too many of the movies that are on your hate lists so if I like a current movie, you're liable to hate it.

And, I'm not one of those Mr Bean fruits either... although my DH is a fan.

And the worst movie ever has to be Glitter. One of my son's friends gave it to him as a present - it's now on the banned from being played in this house unless I'm not home.

Angry

Just watched the WORST movie last night:

The Royal Tenenbaums

It was terrible! There were so many movie stars in that movie... (Gwyneth Paltrow, Gene Hackman, Danny Glover, Owen Wilson, Luke Wilson, Ben Stiller, Anjelica Huston, etc.) ...it should have been better! It was actully BORING!!!

Hmm... I loved the Royal Tenenbaums! Enough that I actually bothered to buy it.

Ah well, like I said, I've seen way too many movies that I like on the hate lists

Here here. My sis bought it and I am soooo glad she did!!! However, this movie is definitely an acquired taste! You either love it, or you hate it! You either get it or you don't!
