I'm going to nominate a movie that I know a lot of people like.

American Pie

Call me a prude, but I couldn't get past the scene where the kid is on the table humping the pie his Mom baked. ( I thought it was sick).

All that the guys in the movie could talk about the first 15 minutes was about getting "lucky" with some girl. It was just too high schoolish for me. Maybe if I had suffered through the rest of it I might have found something in it I liked.
DH loved it.

What is it about George Clooney that you cannot stand? Certainly not his looks!

hands down the all time worst movie is:

A CRACK IN THE FLOOR

it had gary busey (talking about what he would like to do with brazilian monkeys ?????) and the guy who played slater in saved by the bell...HORRID. awful. can't believe we wasted money on it.

and for the record, i think The Color Purple is one of the BEST movies of ALL time...my mother brought me to see it in the movie theatre when i was 7 years old, it's the kind of movie that stays with you and i absolutely loved it. the plot, the cinematography, everthing. i think it was one of whoopi goldberg's BEST performances...every single person should sit down and watch this movie. i can't believe it made this list!

I know there have been lots of scarier movies made, but my all-time least favorite is The Exocist because I felt it was really evil.

Speaking of whom....has anyone seen her lately??? Given her past sociopolitical inferences, I was sure she'd be leading a peace march somewhere, but I haven't seen hide nor hair of her!! Ever since she left Hollywood Squares, it seems like she's disappeared off the planet! Anyone know what's going on with her these days? Just curious.....

As Good as It Gets-I liked that one, not the ending I wanted, but still good.

The worst one I saw was that one with George Clooney and he was on a space station and his dead wife was brought back. Came out like a little under a year ago. My friend and only sat through the whole thing because we thought it just HAD to get better. So DIDN'T!

That is fine and everything, but for it to be nominated for WORSE ALL TIME MOVIE EVER is a little harsh, dontchathink? We are talking about the worse movies ever...not just movies we don't like! There should be some reason one feels a movie is the worst ever.

Well, since I started the thread as a way for everyone to nominate *their* own idea of worse movie ever (was trying to lighten the mood)~ No, I don't think it's harsh.

I like some of the movies others have listed. But to each thier own. I don't care if a movie won an award. If I don't like, I don't like it. That's all.
