Yeah, what was it with that Gone Fishing movie?
I thought with the two of them it would really be cute.
I kept waiting and waiting and...............

Oh, also that OH Brother, Where Art Thou? With Clooney.
I kept waiting for it to be SO great like our friends said.

A few that come to mind

Evita (TOO MUCH MUSIC - I thought it was going to be a musical no ALL music)

Crossroads (She can't sing or act)

Sweet Home Alabama (SO predictable and took way too long to get to the end)

Dude where's my car UGGH

I liked Pet Detective, when he was coming out of the rhino, and the family stopped and said "look a rhino giving birth" That was so funny, and the woman wearing the fur coat w/ the guy that looked like mr. monopoly. TOO FUNNY.

I'll second that! Were there any spoken words in that movie?

We're probably all seeing movies named here that we LOVED, hm? I'm finding it very amusing that a movie so hated by one person can be another's absolute favorite! Ah, diversity.

Did you make a typo? I can't believe someone would NOT like The Color Purple!!! It is my absolute favorite movie of all times. What are you basing your nomination on? Everything about that movie was great: the acting, the plot, the music, etc...

I liked Moulin Rouge.... even if for artistic originality, I'd hardly think anyone could label it the worst movie of all time. Not when there are movies like Attack of the 50 Foot Women.. hehe...

But MY personal WORST movie of all time is a Martin Short flick from 1994, called Clifford.

I like Martin Short, but MrsMayor and I walked out of this one after 10-12 minutes. It was that bad.

I had a hard time watching it the first couple of times I tried. Then my friend MADE me sit through it. I have the DVD now

But, honestly, I have a hard time sitting through ANY movie. That's why I seldom go to the theatre to see one.

Who knows why some like something and some don't?
It just did not appeal to me one bit.

Add to my list:

~Cast Away (I love Tom but PU! I get the urge to rewrite a lot of these movies myself.)

Thumbs down

I concur on The Fisher King! Talk about mindless drivel !!! I mean, honestly....did we need to see small chunks of his wife's head splattered all about???? I LOVE Robin Williams (have you heard his PRE-war comments about the French??), but GEEZ, that stuff was just plain GROSS!!!!

OMG, YES!!! I'm so glad I'm not the only one that didn't think this one was even slightly GOOD. My BIL raved over it, so I bought it, then he said to let him know when we were going to watch it, so he could come over and watch it with us. Then my other BIL and his GF wanted to come, to, so now it's an EVENT.

Those guys were HOWLING all through the movie and I nearly fell asleep from boredom. I hated it.

Well, I just finished watching ONE HOUR PHOTO and was very disappointed. I expected much more from it. Way too slow, not near enough suspense.

Ok, I loved Oh Brother Where Art Thou? I didn't think I would since I cannot stand George Clooney (especially in ER) but I thought he did a great job in the movie!

The movies I cannot stand to watch are any of the Ernest movies...and of course like it was mentioned above, my DH loves anything with Ernest in it! LOL

Sleepwalkers by Stephen King was pretty lame too!

Howard The Duck....STUPID!!
