Anyone know anything about taxes?

We just did our taxes yesterday and got our check back today...I have a question though...how is it that this year we got $1,300 MORE back than last year?

I'm working now and I thought we'd get less back in taxes since I was working but we got WAY more back? I know NOTHING about taxes, so I'm wondering how that is...we always let jackson hewitt do it LMHO!

one reason you probably got more back this year is because remember when meester bush sent everyone a tax refund check in 2001? well it wasnt an excess of money, it was an advance on your 2001 taxes...so when you did 2001 taxes in 2002 you got back less than you would have because he already sent you some of it ....savvy? we got back less too and noticed the spot on the form where you deducted what you got back in 2001 on that advance.....

nope, we didn't get that. i know for a fact cuz we got a letter saying why we didn't get it. so nope, that ain't it. thanks anyway tasker
