Question What is your favorite hot breakfast cereal?

I've been eating a lot of hot cereals for breakfast lately. My favorites are Malt-O-Meal (sweetened with sugar) & Quaker oatmeal (Cinnamon Roll).
Which ones do you like? And do you have a special way to make them?

My fav is cream of wheat...uummmm. Been having it a lot this week. Been home sick the last few days and cream of wheat is my "make me better" food!! A close second is pastina with butter, cinnamon and sugar. Gee, maybe I'll run to the store and get some pastina!

I seldom eat a big breakfast, but I do like cereal at night. Oatmeal, Cream of Wheat, and Malt O Meal are all rotated equally...lol.

I don't like instant or quick cook oats. I prefer the slow ones. They aren't as mushy. And I make all three with milk rather than water. Even better...half and half. I don't add sugar, but sometimes will add a little bit of honey. And of course butter. But not margarine. UGH. To me, margarine tastes like Crisco or something...YUCK!

Maple and brown sugar flavored Malt-o-Meal...yum!!

They also have a chocolate one, but it's not as good.

This was a tough one b/c I love both Cream of Wheat and Oatmeal (instant) but I went with Cream of Wheat. I wish it weren't so expensive.

Oatmeal. Just had it this a.m.

We used to eat Malt-o-meal...the apple cinnamon flavor, but I haven't seen that flavor in a long time. Maybe they don't make it anymore. Brown sugar malt-o-meal is good, too.

We don't have half of those in the South!! I have "heard" of Malt-o-Meal, but what are Maypo and Coco Wheats? Grits are southern, but I won't touch them

I love Cream of Wheat with butter and brown sugar. I also like to eat rice for breakfast the same way. Anyone else do this???

Definitely the Quaker Oatmeal, the variety packs are pretty good. I like the kind with the raisins, cinnamon or apple.
