Question What are the gasoline prices in your area?
I haven't been doing a lot of "running" so I was sorta shocked when I saw the gas prices today. Hubby put gas in my car lst night and I never thought to ask him and he's never one to really moan over the prices. At Meijer's store regular unleaded was $1.74 per gallon, 10¢ more per upgrade. Dang! Hubby drives almost 100 miles every day...explains why $25 just doesn't cover it any more.

Last Wednesday, gas was $1.49 for reg unleaded. Went to $1.52 Thursday morning, $1.57 Friday morning, and $1.62 Saturday morning. I haven't been out and about for the past couple of days, but I don't think it went up anymore.

And quite a few refineries are only 20 or so miles away Seems like we;d get it cheaper since they don't have to haul it as far

Was $1.55 yesterday (I filled up...YAY) it's $1.75 today and hubby had to fill his truck...OUCH. It probably cost him $50.00.

The average here for regular is $1.60. I have seen it as low as $1.29 when the price was was going on. (That was on Capital Blvd. in Raleigh for those near Raleigh) and the highest I have seen is $1.69.

Just a tip, we are filling up every chance we get because the prices are going up every day. That way we can keep the cheapest priced gas in the car at all times.

when i was home in CT this weekend the lowest i saw it was $1.56 in West Haven and $1.75 also in West Haven (right off 95)

It's been all over the place. Last week when my tank was full it was $1.39. The next day my DH paid $1.65, and today I noticed it was $1.59 - all at the same station. We never buy our gas after Thursday noon when it goes sky-high. Monday it will drop again.
