What games do you like to play with you kids?

I have a blast with my 4. I haven't played barbies since my 2 year old kept beating my barbie up, so I find new ways to play with them.

I love to scare them! BWAHAHAHAHAHAHA! They will be concentrating on their school work, and I will hollar! But they know its a game, so they always say, NAH, You didn't get me that time mom! But when I do, its priceless!

We also do alot of play acting games, like me and the younger ones will have tea and graham crackers and talk in english accents about "Mrs. toodily" while "eating our crumpets". We crack ourselves up.

For a while my oldest and I had a game going where she would right Letters as a pretend character and stick them in the "mail box" (a box on our book shelf) and periodically check back, and "Ms. Princely" would right back. We had quite a little story going on there.

How about you? What games do you like to play with your kids?

My kids actually like to play card & board games. We play Hearts, Clubs, Cribbiage, Sequence, Monopoly, Boggle, Yahtzee, and the list goes on. We have game night every other Saturday at my sister's house and the kids join in if they understand the game we are playing. Amazing as it may be, my 8 year old plays all of these games with us. He is a nut when it comes to card games. He's got about 6 decks of cards in his bedroom and a bunch of board games also.

I also like to tease a bit when they say "I'm hungry" or "I'm tired". I think you can see where I am going with that one.

We have TONS of boards games
Our FAV. game to play as a family is Trouble, we have a blast!
The kids actually enjoy playing Solitaire on the 'puter. Even Matthew (just turned 5) 'gets it' and enjoys it.
Steven likes games that involve strategy......chess,etc.
For the holidays the boys got this hand-held game, Brainwarp.
If you don't have it, get it! Talk about fun!

Anyone tried Scattergories? It's really easy, fast, and any age can play (well, as long as they can read and write).

My boys, ages 8 & "almost" 12, have tons of Yu-Gi-Oh cards and I don't get it either. They will sit for hours and "duel".

They also each have the Yu-Gi-Oh game for their Gameboy Advance and they "link up" and duel that way too. They are just sort of off in their own little world with that one!
