I am sitting here in amazement after watching 20/20. He is one strange puppy! At first I kind of felt sorry for him, but then he just got weird!?

What are your thoughts on it?

I just can't believe what he does to those poor kids...wearing masks in public and the poor baby with the cloth over his head while trying to have a bottle...They will end up growing up as strange as he is!

I thought it was strange that earlier in the show he said the mother of the baby was someone he was involved with, but then at the end he said he didn't know who the mother was? Or did I misunderstand that?

i understood that he said he didnt know her at all.........they showed a clip from the interview on entertainment tonight and darned if he didnt sound just like a woman.

My opinions are probably different from most. I believe he is a big kid that never grew up and never had to. While he obviously has deep psychological problems, I think he truely loves children and wants the best for him. I hope that came across the way I wanted it to. I think he has a big heart but it is the heart of a kids. The way he went through the store say I want that reminded me of how a child asks for something in a store. I think he is misunderstood. I did not like the way the interviewer acted when he asked about kids sleeping with him. The interviewer said his kids did not sleep in bed with him. I really think that is weird. I remember many nights as a kid having a bad dream or just wanting the comfort of being with my parents and getting into bed with them. My step-siblings have spent the night at my house many times and when they were younger and had a bad dream or were scared they climbed into my bed. Once they had gone to sleep I would put them in their bed to help them learn to be on their own. I think he really cares for his biological children and it makes sense why he acts the way he does. I do think he lied about the plastic surgery. My overall opinion is he is a big kid! It is only strange to us because that is not the norm. Why does someone have to act "normal" to be accepted by society?

I am not defending him and I am not against him.

Jennifer---think he said that he was married to the mother of his first two children and then with the baby he didn't know her and she didn't know him. At least that's what I got out of it. And yes, he is a strange puppy. And No, I don't think he should be sleeping with all those other kids--IT JUST AIN'T RIGHT!!!!!!!!!! Did you notice how that 13 year old boy(the one that had had cancer) hung on to Michael and held hands with him? Don't know many 13 year old boys that would do that!!!!!!!!!!!!!

My 13 year old boy would. And it would not be sexual at all. He would also hold hands with his stepdad. (His real dad died when he was 8 months old.) I think Michael Jackson is tragic. He was thrust into an adult world at the age of 10, and never got to be a kid. More power to him to try to be one now.

To each his own, but I would NOT want him keeping my child overnight. But then again in this day and time, I wouldn't trust many people with my little one!!!!!!!!!!!!

Michael asked a loaded question. It could not be answered properly without going into detail on the differences of perceived impropriety. The interviewer rightly took the easy way out and just said "no". Not answering that way would have opened up a whole new conversation which would have been "a can of worms".

Yeah, he grew up too fast, and his childhood had many problems. His father probably had the most influence on creating the "whacko Jacko" we see today. He's got way too much money than he knows what to do with. He's a kid in a candy store with a multi-million dollar allowance. He never matured into adulthood, so he can only relate to children.

My husband & I are divided on this issue. I happen to agree with Cujo and he basically agrees with everyone else. I tried to tell my husband he's a big kid who never got to grow up or have a normal childhood b/c of his celebrity. As for the sleeping in the bed with kids not his own, I don't think it's appropriate. Not b/c he might sexually abuse them. It's just not right. My husband wouldn't sleep in the same bed with my son & his friends if he were having a sleepover. Now, everyone camping out in sleeping bags in a tent (outside or in the den), is fine, of course. Moreover, I don't believe he ever molested the boy the accused him of it. Considering he hangs out with kids & sleeps in the same bed & thus, probably dresses infront of them (not necessarily from the nude), it's not surprising that a boy would see birthmarks or whatever. I believe his parents just took advantage of the situation & tried to extort moeny from him. I don't want to have a huge debate over this. This is just my opinion.

I think it's sad when people condemn him because "he's not normal!" Yeah, he's not, but so what! If everybody was "normal", we wouldn't have had Leonardo DaVinci, Einstein, and many other incredible people.

Personally, I found that if I stopped looking at him as a 44 year old man and, instead, looked at him as a very sentimental maiden aunt, one who always wanted to be a Mommy, then it all made sense. I don't mean this in a negative way, but he was a very proper and very lady-like person. (More so than I am!) I think he is non-sexual, and that he was trying to get that across in the final interview. I think it's sad that we have let the actions of a few depraved child-molesters make us think that any man who likes children must be one of them. (Everybody was so sure about the truth of the McMartin Preschool accusations, but they turned out to be untrue!)

As for his face, maybe he takes female hormones for his voice, and that accounts for the changes (and voice and seemingly non-sexual nature). I looked at pictures of his family, and could see hints of a cleft chin and the high peak to the brows and cheekbones. I'm sure that Michael Jackson's slenderness emphasizes these things, along with the use of cosmetics, but that's his business!

Yeah, he's a bit strange, but so what! As the mother of a child who is not quite "normal" (my son has mild autism), my tolerance for "differences" has increased dramatically!

I say to each his own but I do wish there were someone to help ensure that his children be given the opportunity to see what "normal" is.

When he said he was thinking about adopting 2 children from every country I almost had a heart attack.

Will they have to wear masks in public, too?

I should have put a disclaimer on my last post that said "Just my opinion" or "the way I see it". Usually when I write something, that's the way I intend it to be...not as a hardcore statement of fact, but "from my perspective". That last post may have come across that way (as arguing a point), but it wasn't meant to be.

That said, I think there are too many indications that Michael is whacked out and mentally unstable. First of all, there's the denials. Does he think the world is stupid enough to believe that he's had "just one, okay, maybe two" plastic surgeries on his face? To believe a face will go through so much transformation as a result of "growing up" shows that he is delusional. Blaming the whiteness on a "skin condition" is just another lie. He's in denial. He denies the obvious that he has undergone changes. He denies his blackness and his pimply face - he hates himself. He transformed himself into something that was more acceptable to him, but it was STILL not acceptable. He denies the fact that he is going to die someday. He is going to live forever and he believes that. What was the umbrella all about? Just protecting himself from the decaying ultraviolet rays of the sun. He denies the fact that he is now an adult. He denies the obvious that his children came from a caucasian mother. He denies the fact that he is lonely and bored. He immerses himself in child's games and buying toys to try to overcome the emptiness in his life. He is in deep need of psychiatric help, in my opinion. I feel real sorry for him. He is more than just "not normal" or "different", he is abnormal mentally. I wouldn't trust his mental state around ANY kids. He is just too delusional. He uses the adoration of his fans to confirm his self-worth. Without his wealth, he would be in a psychiatric ward, but the wealth has been a contributing factor to his "condition" too. His wealth buys him playmates and the self-assurance that he is worth something as a person.

Again, just my opinion - I'm not a professional psychiatrist.
