2) No. We should not allow discussion of religion of any type, because it will probably cause problems like it has in the past.

One last thought and Im done here

taking this from a quote from you teraberry from the last thread you started that got locked

My DH said there have been people in this church who let their sick children go without treatment which resulted in the child's death. Sad.
Is this a fact ?? does you DH happen to know for a FACT that people in this church let their children go without treatment and let their children die ?

MY GOSH if that isnt an inflammatory statement !

This board has a wide range of members, and you didnt stop to think that maybe we had a member of that church here, or even a family member of someone who goes to that church .. how can you make such a statement without establishing facts ??? or is that just your DH (and your opinion) ? if so, you should of stated that

Can you explain to me what was arguing or unhealthy? Was it what I said in the thread or was it what other members said?

I did a search on google and got many results... This is just one of the pages showing cases in which children have gone untreated for illness and died because of the beliefs those in this church hold. If there's anyone here who thinks this is okay I'd be surprised, and if there is in fact someone who thinks it is fine... wouldn't the rest of us want to stop it from happening again?
