Unhappy Six more weeks of winter

Just read an article that the ground hog saw his shadow and we can now expect 6 more weeks of winter! I can handle that, just keep the ice and snow away.

By the way, I was telling a co-worker about the saying that .....It the woodchuck could chuck wood, ....and I couldn't remember the rest of it. Does anyone remember it??? She keeps saying that it's the age thing...she's 20 yrs younger than I am. Need to have the answer for when I go back to work tomorrow...

Thanks

Well, the groundhog did NOT see his shadow here. In fact, he didn't even make it out. His hole is stuffed with snow.

What happened? Did he fall out of a tree into a snowbank and is now recovering in the ICU?

Sorry, I just couldn't resist.

Nah, actually, he asked us to stuff his hole with snow, to keep our killer cat, Jinx, away. He's afraid. He's VERY afraid. (As he should be. No wild animal the size of a fox or smaller is safe around here.)

Woodchuck

How much wood could a woodchuck chuck if a woodchuck could chuck wood. He'd chuck all the wood that a woodchuck could if a woodchuck could chuck wood.

as to the groundhog who foresaw 6 more weeks-

I've heard groundhogs taste like chicken!

NORAD continues to track a small unknown object that originated in the southwest region of the United States. It crossed the Canadian border yesterday, just hours after people working in Chicago's Sears Tower saw a fuzzy brown "teddy bear-like" thing fly close by the 102nd floor. Despite the shocked look on its face, the workers applauded out of revenge. "Six more weeks of this?" one said. "He got what he deserved"
